International performers snapshot

The 2012 Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival is hosting blues artists from across the globe including New Zealand, UK, Japan, Canada and the USA. This week we profile Bob Malone (USA) and Chris Jagger (UK).

Bob Malone plays a unique hybrid of blues and rock delivered with high-energy piano virtuosity and soulful vocals. Aside from Malone sharing the stage with various iconic  blues artists, he's also performed on various TV series, including; the Late Show With David Letterman alongside legend John Fogerty and The Price Is Right, with Malone's music being heard on Dr. Phil, The Rachel Ray Show, Wheel Of Fortune to name a few. Bob Malone is just one of the many highly anticipated international artists being welcomed to the sandy shores of the Gold Coast in May for the festival.

It seems musical mastery runs deep in the Jagger blood with Chris (Mick Jagger of The Rolling Stones brother) teaming up with his band to form 'Chris Jagger's Atcha!' (UK).  Having explored many fields, from fashion to theatre to journalism, Chris decided to concentrate on his musical career, the result being the release of critically acclaimed Sequel C.D. ' Atcha!' in 1994. Blues on Broadbeach is bursting with excitement to witness Jagger take to the stage in what is sure to be a show like no other.
